Our most popular standard routes are:
1) KOLOVESI National Park circuit 37 km(3 Days), Entry/exit point: Kirkkoranta, Kolovesi
2) KOLOVESI - LINNANSAARI 70-110 km (1-2 weeks) - two national parks on the same circuit trip.Entry point: Kirkkoranta. Exit point:Kirkkoranta canoe harbour.
3) HEINÄVESI ROUTE 85-150 km (7/10 days)- two/three protected areas: Kermajärvi, Kolovesi, Joutenvesi. One-way trip.Entry point: Heinävesi marina. Exit point:Kirkkoranta or Enonkoski.
4) LAKELAND SEAL TRAIL 130-250 km (14-21 days) - four protected areas: Kermajärvi-Kolovesi-Joutenvesi - Linnansaari (7 Days), 110-120 km. Entry point: heinävesi. Exit point:Savonlinna.

The most economic way to explore the Kolovesi National Park is to hire a canoe or a sea-kayak on self-services basis.This service suits best for experienced canoeists with own vehicle. Second option is to choose a basic rental package which includes both assistance & advice and all neccessary transfers. Four standard routes are available (See file:KIRKKORNTA basic packages). Third option is to ask an individually tailored package. It is our most expensive option, but worth of it should you require an truly exclusive experience.Here are self-service prices:

• Canoes double 25,00€/Day or 118,00€/Week
  
• Canoes triple 40,00€/day or 168,00€/week
  
• Sea kayks, single 20,00 €/Day or 110,00 €/Week
  
• Sea kayaks, double 30,00 €/Day or 150,00 €/Week

Self-service prices include a paddle and PFD per person, spray skirts for kayaks. All boats are availabe at our warehouse in Leipämäki. Rentals taken and returned during regular business hours between 9 am and 8 pm qualify for one day. Trip planning, maps,transfers, extra equipment or shuttle services are not included in the self-service price.Basic canoe package prices are available for each route on separte price list on request.

The Seal Trail Canoe System has many access points. Which one you use depends on your choice of trip type, route, the amount of equipment you need and where you are travelling from.List of entry and exit points for all standard routes is found at the top of this page (Routes 1 - 4).We arrange transfers only for tailor-made or basic canoe packages. Transfer fees are based on the distance from Kolovesi base to the chosen access point + loading charge.. F.ex. one load of canoes (1-8) from Kolovesi to Valamo costs on average EUR 80,- PLEASE NOTE: There are no direct public transport connections to the Kolovesi National Park.Distances: Kolovesi - Savonlinna 56 km, Kolovesi - Valamo (via Heinävesi) 73 km, Kolovesi - Heinävesi train station 43 km, Savonlinna - Enonkoski 33 km. All transfer fees are subject to change due to gas prices.

A outfitting deposit is required to make a reservation. Reservations can be made by telephone (Only MAY-AUGUST+358-40-558 9163), e-mail (use our reservation formula)or mail (Pirttimäentie 1451, FIN-58300 SAVONRANTA) and are binding. On booking you receive a confirmation along with request for a down-payment covering 30 % of the total sum (€ 50 minimum). Final payment is due in full in full prior to the trip at our office OR be prepared to leave a minimum 100 € cash deposit or a credit card imprint on arrival.

Cash, Visa and Master card are accepted. Each party is completely responsible for all equipment while in their possession – no exceptions. Damages beyond normal wear will be assessed at the discretion of the company and charged to the responsible party.
